Food-Revolution-Day-2013-2 Food-Revolution-Day-2013

Last year, we were in London for Food Revolution Day 2013 and we had the gastronomical pleasure of eating at Oliver’s restaurant, Fifteen. The road was shut and brimming with people, eating real food at stalls lining the street and cheering on Oliver and others who spoke about the need to promote real food, and set kids up for long, healthy lives. Fifteen restaurant fulfills Oliver’s vision to support young people who have faced challenges in their lives to provide them with a life-changing opportunity to unlock their culinary talent. The profits from Fifteen are donated to the Jamie Oliver Food Foundation – which supports campaigns and actions like #FRD2014.

Today, hundreds of thousands of people are speaking out and stirring up real food with their families, in their workplaces and in their communities. It’s not too late to sign up today, download a recipe and show your support for this important cause, which supports young people to  learn about and enjoy food today, to safeguard and protect their health tomorrow.
